Summer Intensive
A transformational summer experience where students turn ideas into real businesses.
The Program
The Ultimate Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (UYEC) is Bright 'Lites Academy's signature summer intensive designed to introduce students to entrepreneurship through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world business development in a collaborative environment.
Rather than learning entrepreneurship through worksheets or lectures alone, students actively work on transforming their ideas into tangible products, services, or business concepts while receiving direct coaching and peer feedback throughout the program. Scholars learn how to identify problems, develop business ideas, understand customer behavior, build simple branding strategies, practice public speaking, and strengthen leadership skills.
At the end of the intensive, parents are invited to watch scholars participate in a live business simulation where they pitch their ideas, practice selling, and apply what they have learned in a real-world environment designed to build confidence and execution skills.
Students who wish to continue their entrepreneurial journey may also apply to participate in the Young Moguls Marketplace, our optional public marketplace event. UYEC Graduates receive an in-house vendor rate of $75.00.
Program Structure
Each day of the UYEC builds on the last, guiding scholars from idea to execution over the course of the week.
Monday
Students learn how businesses solve problems, identify target audiences, customer appeal and psychology, and brainstorm viable business ideas.
Tuesday
Scholars work on naming their business, developing products and services, and pricing. Students explore marketing strategies and sales basics.
Wednesday
Scholars refine their pitches, practice presenting, prepare for simulation activities, and develop public speaking confidence.
Thursday
Scholars participate in live pitch presentations, market simulations, graduation recognition, and awards.
2026 Cohorts
Enrollment is first come, first served. Each cohort runs Monday through Thursday for one week in July. Spots are limited.
The Why
Traditional education systems rarely prioritize entrepreneurship, wealth-building, or practical financial skills, leaving many young people unprepared to confidently navigate the real world.
The Ultimate Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge was created to help change that. By giving students the opportunity to build businesses, interact with real customers, manage money, communicate their ideas, and experience ownership firsthand, we are helping raise a generation of young leaders who understand how to create opportunities, not just wait for them.
